Sheet Hydrogel dressing

AGTS has developed a working prototype, including packaging and sterilization, of a novel, unique, sterile hydrogel dressing with potential applicability in burns patients.

This program has the potential to yield a marketed product in a relatively short timescale with the unique and significant advantage of the resulting product being sterile.

The aim of this program is to develop a product with the following target profile:

• Develop a unique sterile hydrogel product
• Hydrogel sheet containing over 90% water
• Technology will create a moist wound-healing environment
• Product will create a cooling effect when used on burns
